About
AgriAlert is the core R&D service of Global Access Diagnostic's (GADx) non-human diagnostic division. We have a long and successful tradition of working with leading academic institutions and agri-tech companies, including Newcastle University, Liverpool University, AHDB, The Pirbright, WCG and NIAB EMR.

Rapid diagnostic tests for animal health and crops provide the veterinary, agriculture and horticulture industries a means towards developing an effective, yet cost-effective, disease management system. Since rapid tests enable users to access accurate results on-site, this confers significant advantages:
1. Business cost reduction: rapid lateral flow tests are affordable and eliminates the need for expensive lab equipment or services to detect potential disease.
2. Time saving: By getting test results on-farm or at the site of production, this empowers vets and farmers to begin treatment immediately. This eliminates the need to send results to be analyzed in an internal or third party lab, which can take days or weeks to process.
3. High degree of accuracy: When dealing with livestock or crops, it's vital to be able to rapidly identify potential disease on the spot and objectively ascertain how far it has spread. Rapid diagnostic tests provider users with this option.
4. Simple-to-use: Rapid lateral flow tests require minimal training to use and can be utlised by non-specialists.

Livestock
